How to Back Up Your iPhone Before a Screen Repair

Before you bring your phone in for any repair, back it up. Screen repairs and battery swaps are low-risk, but a good backup is cheap insurance. Here's the fastest way.
Option 1: iCloud Backup
Go to Settings → your name → iCloud → iCloud Backup, and tap Back Up Now. Make sure you're on Wi-Fi and plugged in. This is the easiest method and works over your AT&T connection too.
Option 2: Backup to a Mac
Connect your iPhone to a Mac, open Finder, select your phone, and click Back Up Now. This creates a full local backup including photos and messages.
Option 3: Backup to a Windows PC
Use the Apple Devices app (or iTunes). Connect via USB, select your device, and choose Back Up Now. Store the backup somewhere safe.
Verify the Backup Worked
Check the "Last successful backup" time before you hand over the phone. If your screen is too cracked to use, we can help you back up in-store before the repair.
